Founder | Irving Acosta-Licerio

Irving's relationship with aesthetic medicine has deep roots. Growing up, he experienced firsthand the effects of social inequality and the negative stigma surrounding cosmetic treatments. As a result, Irving dedicated himself to course-correcting these damaging ideologies by unapologetically embracing his passions for aesthetics and equality. As these passions evolved into a life goal, Irving enrolled in pre-med as an undergraduate, pursuing a career in cosmetic dermatology.

Upon entry into medical school, Irving began exploring the pharmaceutical sales industry, where he found success as a sales representative in Washington, D.C. Irving was recruited out of college to become a Practice Development Manager for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies that develops, manufactures, and markets a portfolio of leading aesthetics brands & products. He was relocated to Miami, FL, to manage this territory before being promoted to Beverly Hills.

Irving has been absorbing knowledge and consulting with industry-renowned practices and physicians from two of the most competitive markets in the US. This intel is the foundation of SURFACE LEVEL's mission statement: full transparency, realistic expectations, and bold actions lead our practice and the patient experience.
